Inspired by the 2013 Edward Snowden revelations and Trevor Paglen's photographs of NSA sites, this photograph is the documentation of a 3d sculptural rendering of Forte Meade from my perspective. Tasked with making visible the invisible, this work critiques the architecture and location of security and spy institutions, and their lack of transparency. The 3d rendering is created using found objects and computer parts, and designed strictly from Google Maps area view imagery.
